Plant Manager
Fast paced casegoods manufacturer looking for a Plant Manager.
Northeast
Salary commensurate with experience
Requirements:
• Manage all production operations such as machining, processing, finishing, assembly and shipping.
• Plan, schedule and coordinated departmental activities to fulfill work orders, meet inventory requirements and deliver manufactured products in a timely fashion.
• Manage the shop floor by coaching and being hands on.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Will have a thorough knowledge of all manufacturing methods, techniques, and related equipment.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawing and specifications.
• Must be familiar with product construction and application.
• Must have complete knowledge of production scheduling and shop operations.
• Must be highly organized, self-motivated individual that can work independently.
• Strong leadership skills with excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
• Computer literate, particularly in shop floor control, production planning and inventory control applications.
Minimum Requirements:
• 5+ years residential casework manufacturing experience.
• Proven track record in ability to lead, provide instruction and work within all departments within company.
• Experience with CNC equipment including saws, routers and point to point machines.
• Proficient computer understand to include spreadsheets, document tracking, accounting and office management.
• Track and maintain all correspondence and be able to well within a team environment.
• Microvellum /AutoCAD Experience.
• Broad technical or administrative experience in a manufacturing environment.
