Purchasing Agent
East coast
Salary 40-55K
The ideal candidate would be experienced in purchasing Wood and Wood Furniture components and parts: (lumber, laminate, solid surface, substrates, specialty veneers, hardware, etc.) and he/she would also be experienced in Purchasing software and Inventory modules.
They are looking for someone who is bright, eager, honest and willing to seek new sources, negotiate better deals (terms, staging shipments, holding inventory for them, and prices), and help to improve the system currently used by engineering to process material requests. The candidate would be a team player, working closely with other departments in the plant, while reporting to the Purchasing Manager.
