Job Description
Sr. Estimator
We have an immediate opening for a Sr. Estimator with one of the top Architectural Millwork firms in the U.S. If you would like to move to a warmer climate in the southeast U.S. and have a proven track record estimating in various Markets for Turnkey Scope Packages we would like to speak to you.
The Sr. Estimator should have a minimum of seven years experience in vendor/subcontractor quotes in an architectural or construction environment with a strong working knowledge of the woodworking industry.
The candidate should have:
• At least 5 -10 years of experience soliciting vendor/subcontractor quotes in an architectural or construction environment with a strong working knowledge of the woodworking industry.
• Experience in Estimating Change Orders; creating Schedules utilizing MS Project and Managed Projects with Timberline.
• At least 4 years of generating material take offs.
• Effective communication skills
• Strong management skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills, be a team player and approach challenges respectfully and professionally.
• An Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
